This was the Varsity team's test of a four sheet pop bottle raft. The team put the raft in north of St. Charles North High School. Eric Chock followed the raft in his pontoon boat in case a resue was necessary. There weren't any problems, but the raft was eventually towed to Boy Scout Island due to fading daylight. The raft held up well and I think much was learned tonight. No boys or pop bottles were lost during this test. |
