William's Favorite Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 6 Tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries


Directions

  • Oven preheated to 375.
  • Makes 12 regular sized muffins or 6 "texas" sized muffins.
  • Grease and flour muffin tin before using.
  • Combine all the dry ingredients.
  • Add wet ingredients and blueberries all at once and stir just till blended.
  • Fill muffin cups a little over half full.
  • Sprinkle tops with sugar if you'd like.
  • Bake 12-20 minutes depending on size of muffin.
