Salmon Patties
From the Kitchen of Cheryl Qualls
Ingredients
- 15 ounce can of salmon (drained)
- 1 tube of saltine crackers (1/4 box)
- 1 teaspoon dillweed
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
Directions
- Mash it all together thoroughly (including that whole tube of crackers!)
- Shape into 6 patties.
- Fry in non-stick pan with just a hint of oil.
- Heat through, turning once to brown on both sides (about 5 minutes per side.)
- Serve with secret sauce (1 cup low-fat mayo, 1 teaspoon regular yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon dillweed)
Homemaking Tip
- This is a great pantry meal: easy to keep on hand and can be made without the egg
in an emergency.
