Reuben Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • Thin slices of corned beef
  • Dark rye bread slices
  • 1000 island dressing
  • Swiss cheese
  • Saukraut (drained)


Directions

  • Lightly butter the rye bread on one side.
  • Place buttered side down in a frying pan.
  • Spread a little 1000 dressing on the bread.
  • Layer corned beef, cheese and saurkraut and top with another piece of rye bread, buttered side out.
  • Prepare like you would a grilled cheese sandwich toasting both sides until lightly browned.
