Crazy Crust Pizza

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds of beef or Italian sausage
- 1 cup flour
- 1 t italian seasoning or dried oregano
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c chopped onion (optional)
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces (optional)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or pizza sauce
- 1 t. dried oregano leaves
- 4 oz. (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Heat over to 425.
- Lightly grease 12 inch pizza pan (or 9x13), sprinkle with flour.
- Brown ground beef or italian sausage, drain.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, italian seasoning, salt, pepper, milk and eggs; blend until smooth.
- Pour batter into greased and floured pan, tilting pan so batter covers bottom.
Spoon meat over batter; top with onions and mushrooms (or other toppings as desired.)
- Bake at 425 on bottom rack for 25 to 30 minutes or until deep golden brown.
- In small bowl, combine tomato sauce and oregano; spoon over pizza. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serves 6 (yeah, maybe you should make 2!)
