Corner Bakery-style Chicken Salad

Sauce
- Use a 50/50 mixture of miracle whip and mayo (about 1/2 cup each) and add 2-3 Tablespoons apple cider, dash of salt, couple big handfuls of green or red grapes (sliced in half).
Ingredients
- 3 to 4 large chicken breasts, baked, skinned and boned, chopped
- 1/3 cup minced red onion
- 2 ribs of celery, diced
- 1/2 cup granny smith apple, thinly sliced and chopped
- handful currants
- silvered toasted almonds
Homemaking Tip
- Much of this is to your own taste. Add or subtract items as you wish. Add enough sauce to coat the chicken and ingredients but do not over due it or you'll have a sloppy mess. This is excellent chilled and served on a bed or lettuce, in a pita or on a croissant.
