Kane County Fourth of July Festivities (2006)
Looking for a few things to do? Fourth of July Fireworks are always a family favorite. Here are the contact sites for the local shows:
- Batavia: "Sky Concert" is held at Batavia High School and begins at 7p.m. with food available from vendors. Fireworks begin at 9:30. Details at: http://www.bataviachamber.org
- Windmill City Festival (Batavia) is Friday and Saturday, July 7 and 8th starting at 11 a.m. Details are available at http://www.bataviaparks.org
- Geneva: Free Movie in Moore Park. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray! Movie is free and starts at 8:30. Refreshments are available for purchase. Madagascar is showing on 7/6. at 8:30 in Moore Park. Details at http://www.genevachamber.com
- Twilight Miniature Golf: Available at Stone Creek Minature Golf Course located at Rt 31 and Rt. 38 in Geneva. It's from 9pm to 12 am (last tee time is 11:15 pm) for dates check chamber web site. GLOW-IN-THE-DARK BALLS! Great fun for $7.50 per person.
- St. Charles: 4th of July Fireworks can be viewed from Pottawatomie Park or Ferson Creek Park. Fireworks begin at 9:30. Pottawatomie Park opens at 8 am and families are invited to bring a picnic, enjoy a cookout, mini-golf, or swim. Live music on the 4th starting at 8 pm. Tables are first-come, first-serve but you may bring your own table and chairs or blankets. Detail at http://www.st-charles.il.us
